Lab Manager
Lab Manager
Located in Shenzhen city.
-Assists Technology Center Manager on developing a strategic plan for the lab and take charge of implementation;
-Provides input to prepare budget; manages the budget;
-Plans, schedules and recruits properly skilled resources to support lab operation;
-Provides technical direction and supervision to lab personnel;
-Supervises laboratory technical staff and ensures they follow standard operating procedures;
-Plans and monitors maintenance, update and repair of Lab equipment;
-Develops test procedures;
-Execution, documentation and recording of development test;
-Execution, documentation and recording of type test;
-Adapts test equipment to test objects;
-Issues test reports (English);
-Assesses and explains faults;
-Provides technical advice with regard to high voltage engineering;
-Executes examination of competitive products from a functional perspective;
-Supervises and train personnel on Occupational Health and Safety;
-Organizes and supervises machine workshop.
-Major in Electrical Engineering with bachelor degree or above;
-5-10 years working experience in electromechanical testing laboratory;
-High or Medium Voltage background is preferred;
-Previous experience in Lab management or in leading a team of technicians is preferred;
-Proven record of operating testing equipment;
-Management and leadership skills;
-Experience in task scheduling and target setting for a team;
-Sensibility to safety;
-Expertise in safety regulations and standards to operate electrical equipment;
-Written and oral communication skills necessary to prepare reports;
