Project Manager, Sourcing and Purchasing
Project Manager, Sourcing and Purchasing
Located in Guangzhou city
Responsibilities:
• Identify new suppliers and maintain/manage existing suppliers
• Own Supplier Qualification process (NDA, Terms & Conditions, Audit, etc.)
• Determine Suppliers Candidates for specific bid packages
• Facilitate creation of Bid Packages with Core Team members
• Launch and manage RFQ in-country process
• RFQ analysis and recommend awards
• Finalize award with Core Team members
• Primary lead in supplier negotiations, establishing MPA and Contract Review
• Own and Lead project tracking through FAS, initial production, transition to stable supply chain
• Identify and resolve exceptions, root cause analysis and corrective actions/recovery plan
• Maintain and communicate current commercial terms (price, lead time, etc.)
• Manage to Project Milestones
• Monitor supplier performance for assigned suppliers to ensure continuous supply chain stability
• Overall responsibility for sustained supplier performance (delivery, quality and cost)
• Must comply with applicable company quality, health, safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
• Experience/knowledgeable of supply chain operations including: Manufacturing, Sourcing, Purchasing, Expediting and Logistics
• Excellent project management skill
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Demonstrate strong technical skills in Electronic field, computer ability and business acumen
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical-Electronic/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years work experience in supply chain (electronics industries), sensor industry experience is a plus
• Must be able and willing to travel to meet business needs
• Must be proficient in use of MS Office applications
• Excellent organizational, facilitation, and team building skills
• MNC work experience in global basis
• Overseas experience is a plus
