Sourcing Engineer- Mechanical Parts
Located in Dongguan.
Responsibilities
- Ensure right supplier selection and implement partnerships with suppliers
- Develop and implement together with the respective departments technical specifications and standard in order to drive cost down activities
- Contract review/negotiate with existing/ new suppliers and obtain best terms (quality, price quantity, delivery) to meet current and future requirement.
- Responsible for collecting the project needs for sourcing and defining the functional specifications
- Responsible for coordination of allocation of necessary sourcing resources for the projects and plan, steer and manage cost reduction program
- Achieve cost, quality, range extension and services objectives.
- Maintain the integrity of the purchasing data, follow-up and reporting.
- Ensure reliable data about Purchased volume, BP follow up, cost reduction projects and reporting
Requirements
- 5+ years working experience in sourcing (preferably in the Electronics field)
- University education major in mechanical/electrical engineering or related
- Excellent communication skills and commercial experience
- Rich mechanical Knowledge
- Fluent in English
