Assitant to the Financial Controller

Located in Guangzhou city.

JOB PURPOSE:
  Responsible for preparation of monthly management reports accurately and to required deadlines. Preparation of forecasts and budgets. Generation of other management reports. Provides assistance to Financial Controller and senior management as required. Maintains control over operating expenses.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· In relation with the Financial Controller, realise quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and PMT
·  Report to Banque PSA Finance in due time the accurate GRECO modules
·  Realise accurate and in due time monthly OPEX and CAPEX reports (maintenance, forecasting and control) to the management of DPCAFC and other required detailed reports
· Analyse variances in management reports between actuals and forecasts liaising with relevant
management on the appropriate actions to be taken in the light of findings
· Analyse profitability of financial and service products against forecast recommending action where
required
· In conjunction with the Financial Controller, develop necessary Departmental Policies and Procedures
and ensure such Policies and Procedures are followed


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Knowledge and understanding of accountancy and/or finance gained either through experience and/or
a relevant qualification
· Experience of the financial services sector and specifically Accounting therein
· Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access to an advanced level essential, knowledge of MS Word to
intermediate.
· Understanding of written French an advantage
