Assistant Quality Manager
Located in Dongguan city.
Objective of job
- Support the Quality Management team to achieve business target
- Implement the quality management process within DPTS
- Conduct the on-site assessment and PPAP
- Implement process audit according to VDA 6.3 quality standards
- Close communication with headquarter quality department
Job designation
- Quality Management Process Set up
- Implement DPTS quality management process in order to support local parts sourcing activities.
- Support the local sourcing committee from quality perspective for decision making.
- Implement the quality standards along the local supply chain.
- Coordinate the Claims and Teile Info process with suppliers to ensure quality standards and product liability.
- Supplier and Parts Approval Process
- Implement the process of on-site assessment for local suppliers to evaluate the suppliers in terms of location, technologies, resources, capacities, sub-supplier etc.
- Process audit according to VDA6.3 standards to make sure quality requirements of delivered parts, remanufactured parts, accessories and tools are fulfilled according to the valid specification.
- Utilize the PPAP in after-sales parts release to ensure that supplier fulfills quality requirements.
- Process Monitoring and Optimization
- Implement the quality escalation process as well as supplier improvement measure by monitoring the performance.
- Review the quality management process with GSP regularly to ensure the processes and standards are in line with each other.
- Coordinate workshop with GSP quality department for regular process review and on-going activities briefing.
- Interact with internal department and reporting
- Close communication with DPTS internal departments as well as GSP/LSM department.
- Regular quality reporting for suppliers and on-going sourcing projects.
- Process and Audit Fulfillment
- Ensure that the target agreement is successfully fulfilled.
- Make sure all processes and activities are in line with audit requirements and ethical standards.
- Team building activities and employee development plans.
Qualification required
- Education
- Diploma in Automotive, Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience
- At least 3 years experience in the automotive business in particular quality management area.
- Production and After-sales experiences are preferred.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Good at problem solving and decision making.
- Leadership skills with emphasis on teamwork.
- Specific Knowledge
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and procurement process.
